Book Club Picks for next month

Hello book clubbers,

Spring is peeking around the corner, and at Page Turner Press, we’re gearing up for our book club meeting next month. This time, we’ve picked two novels that weave nature and human connection in ways that’ll spark some lively discussions. Here’s what we’re reading:

• The Overstory by Richard Powers - This one’s a sprawling masterpiece about trees and the people who live among them. It’s got layers—literally—like a forest canopy, blending science, activism, and storytelling into something that sticks with you. Perfect for pondering how we fit into the bigger picture.
• Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens - A blend of mystery and coming-of-age, set in the wild marshes of North Carolina. Kya’s journey from isolation to belonging is raw and beautiful, with prose that paints the swamp so vividly you’ll feel the mud between your toes.

We’ll meet at Page Turner Press on next month on the 5th at 6 PM—it’s our cozy back room with the mismatched chairs and the best vibes.
